Assess equipment, materials and labor needed to complete large or complex preparation and carpentry/painting activities for the purpose of ensuring that maintenance activities meets district standards and resolve defined issue(s) while reducing wasted resources.
Maintains a variety of manual and electronic files and records to provide up-to-date reference and complying with regulatory requirements and established guidelines.
Prioritizes and assigns carpentry/painting related work orders to skilled maintenance staff for the purpose of ensuring that facility area are maintained in a safe working / learning environment.
Performs rough and finish carpentry including building additions and remodels cabinets, tables, chairs, therapeutic appliances, and special products; builds and patches roofs; installs floors and wall coverings, ceiling material, paneling, plastic laminates, and hardware; repairs broken windows, doors, walls, ceilings, and furniture; installs door jambs and hangs metal and wood doors.

Vocational Trade certificate or diploma in in carpentry or certified carpenter / painter.
More than five years of experience in a hotel and casino as a carpentry/ painter months.
Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator
