F&B Manager

1. Oversee the management of restaurants, bars, kitchen operations
2. Manage staff within the hotel’s organization structure and human resource and hotel policies
   
3. Communicate regularly with food and beverage staff and conduct effective staff briefings
4. Provide a professional, advisory and executive support service to Calidas to assist in meeting strategic goals
5. Work with sales to manage the development of new products and services
   
6. With Purchasing Manager, develop and monitor the implementation of purchasing procedures
   
7. Manage the food and beverage operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of established food and beverage quality and guest service quality standards and departmental revenue and profit goals.
   
8. Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
9. Supervises the functioning of all Food and Beverage employees, facilities, sales and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved
10. Controls and analyses, on an on-going basis, in order to optimize the quality levels of product and service; guest satisfaction, Merchandising and marketing, Operating costs, Sanitation and cleanliness (hygiene)
    
11. Keeps and up-to-date standard recipe file for all Food and Beverage items to include: Sales history, Sales mix, Actual costs, Potential costs, Par stock, Production time
    
12. Interacts with individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, clients, suppliers, government officials, competitors and other members of the local community
    
13. Works with Human Resources on manpower planning and management needs
