Staff Village Housekeeping runner

• Prepares for the jobs assigned by the Housekeeping Manager/ Supervisor.

• Checks walkways for paper, insects, debris, cigarette butts. Check all wall sconces for burnt-out bulbs.

• Removes dirty linen from resident rooms and takes them down to dirty linen rooms. Categorizes before delivering to the laundry.

• Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of all store rooms, linen closets and garbage stores.

• Collects amenity and clean linen deliveries from unloading dock and transports to stores, distributes to floor pantries.

• Replenishes housekeeping storages with cleaning supplies, resident room supplies, amenities and linen to ensure adequate supplies.

• Assists Housekeeping Attendants in turning mattresses, moving beds, furnitures or other heavy objects.

• Cleans internal walkways, stairways, outside of windows, uphigh positions; removes cobwebs.

• Performs periodical deep cleaning and/or extra works as scheduled or assigned by Housekeeping Manager.

• Uses properly the supplies cleaning products and in the daily operations.

• Handles cleaning tools, equipment and machines with care, in accordance with user manual and operating procedures.

• Reports any damages, shortcomings, disturbances, repair and maintenance to Housekeeping office.

• Records on worksheets and reports timely to the direct supervisor any problems during the shift.

• Tags and submits all lost and found articles to Superior and reports the articles to Housekeeping office.

• Adheres strictly to the policies and regulations of the Village and the department, especially safety and sanitation policies.

• Exercises tact and discretion when dealing with residents and resident’s properties.

• Vocational degree and a higher education completed required.

• One year of experience in similar role.

• Ability to communicate clearly in Vietnamese language, notion in English.

• Must be able to work self-directed, handle a fast-paced, busy, under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
