Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Create an individual tactical marketing plan to drive revenue across all customer segments (leisure travel, corporate travel and group/meetings), and work with the property Director of Marketing Communications to ensure a smooth execution at the property level.
2. Review the monthly and quarterly analysis, provided by Field Digital Marketing team including performance of campaigns and channels, along with return on investment statistics. Maximize and optimize the performance of all marketing channels based on these results.
3. Own the online results for the property through tracking and analysis, using our proprietary performance measurement tool and other tracking systems.
4. Leverage best practices in online marketing, online distribution operations and reporting within Mariott’s divisional and global field marketing communities.
5. Work within the content management system to ensure property content/offers are up to date and consistent with brand strategies. Update hotel information and deals on EPIC weekly.
6. Supervise online marketing campaigns with approved online agency.
7. Ensure brand consistency and reinforcement in all marketing copy, photography, communications and programs.
8. Write/proof-read copy and creative for all promotional offers.
9. Research and develop promotions/partnerships with local attractions to further hotels’ web presence and online revenue, and negotiate on behalf of the hotels in the region for new online marketing initiatives.
10. Write text, prepare photos & work with creative for the specific opportunities
11. Locate and add our hotel to new partner marketing linking opportunities.
12. Maintain close relationship with the market managers in your area for your hotel in conjunction with the DOMC and DORM, to ensure you have the latest information on promotions and have a continuous dialogue.
13. Plan and execute tactical marketing plans through strategic travel agent channels
14. Support Field Digital Marketing Service team on monthly reporting from travel agent partners.
15. Develop property or cluster related METT.
16. Provide content for cluster online promotions for other internal loyalty programs
17. Design marketing strategies to drive stay-related revenue, as well as offers that will generate repeat business for the hotel.
18. Own the development and implementation of promotional offers to ensure timeliness to market.
19. Liaise with hotel operations teams on implementation of offers. Ensure offers are properly tagged and are being tracked.
20. Track, measure and provide analysis on success rate and “Return on Investment” to ensure we optimize on all future offers.
21. Own rolling promotional marketing plans and schedules for local & regional promotions.
22. Review travel sites and other related online channels to monitor news / coverage for relevant hotels
23. Provide training to hotel.
24. Attend weekly yield meeting to ensure strategy is aligned with the hotel.
25. Align management style, working practices and conduct with Hotel’s Vision, Corporate Values and policies. To comply with Marriott’s Code of Conduct at all times.
26. Completely understand, implement and ensure adherence to Local Labor Laws and Marriott policies.
27. Be well versed and knowledgeable of Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.
28. Undertake additional duties as requested by the DOMC and Hotel Management.
29. Ensure attendance at training; ensure you practice team spirit with new staff, orienting them as they arrive to the department.
30. Demonstrate working knowledge of all tasks within your area of responsibility.
31. Monitor guest / clients services and operational requirements in order to identify short falls in the operation.
32. Take part in all opportunities for quality team building.
33. Participate actively in the regular sales meeting to keep staff and management informed and to foster two-way communication.

Education: A Bachelor Degree or higher in Hotel Management or equivalent education.
Experience: 2 years experience in the same field in International hotel chain.
