Spa Supervisor

Checking the reception area and all spa booking sheets.

Checking the music system and air-condition.

Identifying and solving problems in a professional manner.

Checking the spa areas to ensure standards.

Checking over all staffs that have PH and AL to be clear when the spa is not busy or there is low season.

Checking over the grooming of all therapists.

Refreshing / Developing treatments when guest comments are suitable.

Check the reception area and all spa booking sheets.

Check that all lights are switched off and that the door are locked up or closed.

Creating a staff roster per week.

Attending and participating in training sessions/meetings as required.

Assisting instructors to complete the job assignments in a safe and professional manner using proper safety techniques.

Overseeing the smooth running of the fitness operations on a day to day basis to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction.

Establishing effective communication with instructors to gain their trust and respect through work sample.

Maintaining regular quality control inspections of fitness standards.

Assisting in maintaining and cleaning spa utensils and equipments in the gym area.

Assisting in maintaining highly motivated and well-trained instructors.

Assisting in implementing new and effective training programmes.

Motivating spa therapists to search and bring new trends to trainings, aerobic classes and fitness activities.

Handling the entire spa department accurately. Adhere to Maia spa policies regarding advance reservation times.

Double checking all spa bookings.

Knowing all available spa services.

Performing other tasks as defined by the spa manager

Knowledgeable about spa products, gym equipment

Good up-selling and consulting skills

Good English and Vietnamese communication skills

Computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet browsers, POS system)

Able to lead, supervise and monitor associate performance

High school diploma Certificate(s) in spa service, massage techniques training is preferred

At least 2 years of related work supervisory experience
