Mô tả công việc

Give responses to all visitors in an effective and prompt manner.
Give responses to duties involving the grounds keeper.
Keep all mechanical areas in a neat and orderly condition.
Carry out inspection on public areas on a daily basis in case of problems arising unexpectedly.
Offer maintenance and repairs to public areas, guest rooms and administrators office buildings.
Carry out consistent preventive maintenance programs on rooms and regularly updates records on files.
Guarantee that projects are all promptly accomplished and in line with appropriate specifications.
Work together with the front office manager and housekeeper and connects with the manager to discuss any aspect of operations which will involve the maintenance department.
Carry out assessment of requirements for completion of reports, or work orders to the management as stated by standard procedures.
Engage in flexible work schedules to be able to perform well during emergencies.
Assist in remodelling and construction of new projects as may be required. .
To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
To operate as an independent mechanic by analysing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
To be available for any emergencies and act in engineering capacity to protect guests and associates and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
Carry out specific oral or written communication level
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company brand standards anticipate and address guests.
Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing and refrigeration
Update the maintenance work order form.
Ability to interpret readings from meters & gauges and other measuring units.
Prioritize and organize work assignments.
Work under pressure situations and exercise good judgements.
Focus attention on details, speed and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information.
Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
Perform maintenance activities in the guest room like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC and AC ducts.
Perform maintenance activities in hotel public areas like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, plumbing and electrical equipment and cosmetic items.
Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment.
To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
To operate as an independent mechanic by analysing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
When required perform basic repairs and troubleshooting like plumbing, electrical components, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and bulbs, and other guest room items.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Maintains the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Performs other duties as assigned by Duty Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer or Chief Engineer
