• As IT Officer you’ll assist with information technology support and troubleshooting ensuring the highest level of computer performance, efficiency and security.
• Assist IT Manager in maintains technical and user documentation, systems report, newsletters and announcements in a neat, orderly and secure fashion
• Assist IT Manager Follows-up on all outstanding points from the latest IT audit of his/her hotel under the supervision of IT Manager/Leader
• Assist IT Manager Notify department heads on current computer related issues, new releases, MIS trends, viruses etc.
• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Aware and familiar with measures and procedures to follow during emergency situations
• Adhere to all local governmental regulations, brand standards, hotel and company policies and procedures
• Administers all user ID’s, passwords, and the most sensitive system utilities, secures all touchy resources and critical libraries
• Set up and organize workstation for colleagues with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials.
• Conducts periodic tests and inspections to ensure all departments are complying with required procedures.
• Identify training needs and recommend actions in order to resolve those needs.
• Assist in the monitoring of all related hotel systems and ensure proper operation and condition.
• Maintain healthy relationship with contractors.
• Trains the selected hotel staff to take on the major responsibilities during his/her absence
• Monitor inventory and supplies and ensure that replenishments are ordered in a timely manner. Report shortages immediately to supervisor.
• Ensure a reasonable usage of the hotel’s collaterals, equipment and resources
• Maintains an up-to-date list of all computer hardware and software
• Cover and support for AV system. Stand by for meeting
• Monitors the performance of the systems and maintains a logbook of performance report
• Understands all standards and IHG customized features and functions of the Hotel front office system.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

• Working knowledge of local area networks and Microsoft Windows

 • Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.

• 2-year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. some computer set-up and troubleshooting experience preferred
