Mô tả công việc

1. To meet and greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

2. To check the reservation book for reservations for the next meal period.

3. To notify the captain or supervisor of any parties of more than six.

4. To distribute reservations among all restaurant servers equally, informing them of all information necessary. Example, Birthdays, anniversaries, bill not to be taken to the table or any other unusual requests. (Delete)

5. To ensure that the reservation signs are placed on the tables.

6. To always answer the phone politely, up to standards and being informative.

7. If a customer has any questions, it is your responsibility to answer them accurately. Therefore, know your product and price list.

8. To maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus: The ingredients; the preparation; how items are served and with what; know your prices; know the daily specials.

9. To read the Area Information Magazine to know the area and what is going on.

10. To obtain key information for booking: day and date required, time, size of the party, preference for smoking or non-smoking section, the name, phone number or room number, and any special occasion or requirements. Once all of the information is obtained, repeat it to the customer using their name.

11. To ensure all reservations are to be printed directly into the reservation book. Never write a reservation on a piece of paper. (delete)

12. To give guests good first and last impression.

13. To escort guests to dining area, never walk more than three paces in front of the guest. (delete)

14. Once at the table, to pull out the chairs for the ladies first and then any other guest you can accommodate.

15. Once the guests are seated, to hand them the menu in their hand and tell them who their server will be. Then tell them to enjoy their evening at your restaurant. (Delete)

16. On departure of a guest, to make eye contact with them, thank them for coming and say good bye.

17. If there are any complaints, to retrieve a manager or supervisor immediately.

18. To assist other restaurant team members with other task when needed

Yêu cầu công việc

1. One to two years’ experience in a similar role in a high volume five-star hotels or upscale hotels with excellent oral and written communication skills.

2. Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or in a related field.

3. Good command of English and Vietnamese.

4. Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

5. Passion for service.
