JOB SUMMARY

The Mixologist/Bartender is a passionate and positive individual who provide a high level of personalised and timely service to the guests. The individual is responsible for running the daily operations of the bar.

THE ROLE

o Performs the daily opening/closing shift duties of the department and ensures that all team members comply with service standards, departmental policies and operating procedures set by the hotel.

o Be fully informed of beverage and menu offerings, in anticipation of guest needs and to deliver highly attentive service.

o Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safe and condition of the bar.

o Ensure the bar and its equipment are clean and fully functional.

o Responsible for inventory checks and management of all bar supplies, ensuring that all stocks are maintained at PAR level. Notify supervisor/manager when stocks are running low.

o Maintain a record of inventory supplies and inform the team should any item is low, running out.

TALENT PROFILE

Qualification

o Diploma of college or university preferably in Culinary/Bar Management or equivalent level of experience.

o Certification in Bartending is of advantage

Work Experience

o Experiences in similar roles at luxury hotels/resort

Technical Skills

o Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, good at cultivating strong guest relations

o Knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards

o Strong knowledge in beverages and food pairing

o Good command in spoken and written English

o Competent computing skills
