JOB SUMMARY

The M&E Technician is responsible for proper operation and maintenance of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, kitchen, and ancillary equipment, including fittings throughout the hotel, are working satisfactorily.

THE ROLE

o Repairs and maintains all mechanical, electrical equipment in good working order throughout the hotel.

o Repairs and maintains pool system, supply lines and ancillary fittings in good working order.

o Ensures the kitchen and associated equipment is working properly and efficiently during course of duties.

o Carries out all work orders and repairs assigned. Effectively communicate status of completion to ensure quality guest experience and defect-free service environment for both colleagues and guests.

o Carries out shift duties, split shift or when called upon to perform odd duties whenever a person of the same category trade falls sick, is absent from duty or time to time as directed by superiors.

o Responsible for proper operation of physical plant and all engineering facilities of the entire property in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance program and operation schedule.

Qualification

o General Education Certificate / Diploma

Work Experience

o Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar role and capacity of luxury hotels/resort

Technical Skills

o Knowledge in the area of electronic, electrical, HVAV, and mechanical engineering
