2. Reviews, revises and updates security procedures as necessary.

3. Plans and organizes the security Department employee and activities, including the sub-contract security firm.

4. Assists the Personnel Department with pre employment checks on employees hired in critical areas when consulted.

5. Supports the employment of all safety and security personnel.

6. Ensures that the hotel safety and security personnel and contract guards are in proper uniform and are performing their duties in a professional manner.

7. Develops job descriptions, standards and task lists for shift leader, security officers and with the assistance and approval of the Human Resources Manager.

8. Provides annual security department budget.

9. Assists the hotel management in helping to settle differences, which may arises between guest and management

10. Attends all training sessions and courses, briefings and meeting as required

11. Looks continuously for ways to improve the quality, service and income of the hotel

12. Meets or surpass the standards of performance required in your job

13. Makes a significant and continuous effort to increase your professional knowledge, to improve your job skills, and to achieve the goals in your career development plan.

14. Actively supports the hotel’s team culture, and help to achieve the goals of the hotel’s vision.

15. Helps consistently to achieve the goals of the Security “Department’s vision and mission statement.

16. Actively supports the works and decisions of all teams and committees.

17. Keeps General Manager and HRM fully informed of all safety and security related.

18. Manages personnel and assists with safety and security problems.

19. Be fully trained and prepared for all emergency procedures.

20. Trains all employees in security responsibilities.
