F&B Associate - Black Vinegar

Job Summary –

Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc. Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – 

-Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.

-Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.

 -Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.

 -Answer questions on menu selections, and check with kitchen staff whenever additional clarification is necessary.

- Communicate with the kitchen regarding the length of wait for food items, re-cook orders, and product availability.

- Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.

- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.

- Maintain standards of food sanitation and food quality and follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol.

- Stock side stations with proper amounts of silverware, glasses, cups, folded napkins, etc.

- Set up receptacles for trash and dirty linen and transport clean and soiled linens as required.

- Present physical and accurate check and process payment, adhering to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures including added and received gratuity.

- Ability to handle POS and Cashier System 

- Any offer tasks will be assigned by Superiors

- Service charge according to Hotel policy
