Sales Executive (Based in Ho Chi Minh city)

1. GENERAL PURPOSE

• Manage local accounts with sales activity and sales call.
• Assist the Director of Sales to complete the system’s task
• Communicate effectively with all departments through event run down, event orders.
• Fully implement AKYN programs & initiatives
• Conduct tele-marketing and pass leads to Director of Sales

2. MAIN TASKS

• Conduct market research, online search, newspaper or media to solicit potential accounts.
• Ensuring the that all guests are make to feel welcomed, and appreciating the richness of culture diversity of your clients, associates and location.
• Achieving personal catering budget as outlined.
• Maximizing ballroom and function room occupancy to meet business plans and revenue objectives.
• Assist Director of Sales efforts according to market demand and want.
• Ensure that data provided to corresponding departments in the hotel is accurate and informative. E.g., Event Orders, Event Run Down, etc
• Managing and expanding guests’ data base to fully implement future initiatives and solicit guest return.
• Assists in coordinating the development of all promotional material.
• Assist with the planning and development of promotional strategies and marketing plans for the hotel.
• Assist with the preparation of new products and services.
• Co-ordinate and maintain supply of corporate gifts and promotional items.
• Execute advertising/creative briefs in a timely manner.
• Organize Trade shows, functions and exhibitions where applicable and advised by Superiors.

1. Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’ s or College’s degree equivalent in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field
• At least 1-2 years experience in Hotel and Resort with same position.
• Knowledge in Corporate, Travel Industry, CI & M and Catering sales.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• English: good writing and communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
