Director of Commercial Marketing

• Develop and execute annual sales & marketing strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and business growth targets.
• Lead sales activities, manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and build long-term customer relationships.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, customer needs, and pricing to identify opportunities and support business growth.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Sales & Marketing team to achieve departmental objectives and performance targets.
• Oversee marketing strategies and campaigns in alignment with Sofitel brand guidelines, experiences, and hotel business objectives.
• Work closely with the Director of Revenue and General Manager to develop aligned sales strategies, forecasts, budgets, and revenue plans.
• Collaborate with OTAs and external partners on paid advertising and demand-generation initiatives; provide regular sales performance and market reports.
• Accountable for managing & developing all sale segments, maintain strong relationship with hotel key accounts, ensure consistent revenue generation as per Hotel objectives;
• Achieve the annual revenue goals, sale strategies & key performance indicators as budgeted; grow market share and account acquisition;
• Perform all duties within the framework defined by the chain/Hotel norms and by internal regulations as specified by General Manager.

• Minimum 05 years of Sales management experience or at least 02 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven records;
• High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen; in evaluating and identifying business opportunities with a proven track record of financial & KPI results;
  
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint with experience in presenting monthly reports, business plans, etc. to board of directors & executive senior management.
• Exceptional leadership mindset; ability to coach and mentor others; Developing future leaders.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
