Bar Supervisor

Bar supervisor is responsible for assist and monitoring of all aspects and functions of the bar outlets, in accordance with hotel standards. Directs, implements and maintains BAR service within the Hotel, and ensure that customers are served promptly & courteously. Additionally oversee hygiene and safety regulations. Motivate & lead the departments to work as part of the wider hotel team in order to promote a positive image of the Hotel at all times.

MAIN TASKS

• Assist Bar Manager/ Assistant Bar Manager to create the new cocktail list and deliver on the job training to the Bartending team.
• Make sure the team prepare all items, ingredients, fresh garnishes before service time.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate music tapes and entertainment, ensuring correct volume and appropriateness to guests.
• Interact with customers, take orders for drinks and snacks.
• Check identification of the guest to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products.
• Assess guest’s needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Provide recommendations and suggestions to guest for choosing Drinks and Snacks.
• Provide guidance to guests on hotel activities, dining options and general hotel and Regional information.

• Ensure staff meet the standards of the bars, addressing and correcting bad practice where need be.
• Ensure that transfer slips and spill sheets are filled out and distributed in accordance with departmental standards.
• Implement and ensure the Company Health, Hygiene & Safety Policy is met at all times.

1. Có bằng cấp nghiệp vụ khách sạn
Vocational diploma or degree in hospitality.
2. Tối thiểu 1-2 năm kinh nghiệm ở vị trí tương đương.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar position.
3. Kỹ năng tiếng Anh tốt.
Good English communication skill, good administration and organizational skills is an advantage.
4. Sử dụng khá Excel, Word và Power point.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
5. Có kiến thức về phần mềm quản lý khách sạn (Opera/ Protel/ Smile…) và có kĩ năng cơ bản về các phần mềm của Microsof Office.
