Trưởng bộ phận ẩm thực/Food & Beverages Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor cost and profitability.

- Timely analyse Food & Beverage prices in relation to competition.

- Process participation and input towards F&B marketing activities.

- Entertain potential and existing customers.

- Advise and submit the management all necessary FB promotion programs to maximize the FB revenue.

- Handle all Food & Beverage inquiries and ensure timely follow up on the same business day.

- Co-ordinate with all large group meeting/banquet planners their specific group requirements with the services and facilities offered. This includes proposals, contracts, estimated and actual function statements.

- Confirm all details relative to group functions with meeting/banquet planners.

- Complete monthly forecast.

- Attend weekly F&B meeting and department heads meeting.

- Assist in menu planning and pricing.

- Be available to hotel staff at all times in case of emergency.

- All other duties as directed by Executive Assistant Manager or General Manager.

- Directly responsible for large groups…overseeing medium and smaller groups.

- Ensuring that services meet customer specifications.

- Liaise on an on-going basis with the Sales Department to ensure all client needs and requirements will be met.

- Work with the chef, assistants to ensure all arrangements and details are dealt with.

- Ensure a professional attitude and proper business attire when on property, ready to meet or service a client at any time.

- Responsible for staff training and development

- Oversee all scheduling within the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in 4 or 5 star hotel environment of which at least 2 year supervisory or up.

- Fluency in English, a second language would be a plus.

- Diploma or Degree in hospitality.

- Have a “guest centric” work approach

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.

- Good health, pleasant personality and neat appearance

- Good inter-personality skills and outgoing, friendly.

- Able to cope with pressure
