Phú Quốc - Show Technical Director - Sun World

- Set Up related to technical and show control:

- Assist with developing job descriptions, selection and recruitment (Recommend and Review + Interview candidates to be hired)

- Assist the Show Provider (ECA2) in training staff and management during pre-opening and provide further training & coaching after opening.

- Ensure all SOP‘s, checklists and manuals for technical and show control departments to fully maintain and operate the show are available or if needed; develop SOP’s.

- Monitor Daily performance for implementation and adherence to SOP’s and manuals.

- Provide a list with Pre-Opening Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E) with product specifications for Show Control and Technical Department.

- Provide a yearly operating budget including consumables for Show Control and Technical Department.

- Other documents, procedures, training or requirements to ensure which allows the Show Operations & Artistic Team to fully and safely operate the show based on industry best practises and the requirements and expectations of the Show Provider.

- Management Show Control Operations and Show technical staff, which includes the Maintenance staff.

- Management of Technical equipment and systems related to show; including but not limited to:

- Showlighting/audio/Video/Laser/Electrical/Plumbing/Electronics/Networks/Flames/Water Effects/Laser/pyrotechnics

- Management of Show Control Systems (i.e. Medialon, Watchout & Artnet systems) - Operation, programming, reprogramming, updates to the main show and special events.

- Oversee the setup, testing & tuning, troubleshooting and programming of the Main Show.

- Operation & programming of special events

- Overall responsibility for show control operation & show recovery.

- Ensuring Technical and Show Control staff are able and sufficiently trained to ensure a high level of Safety, Service, Show and Efficiency. Provide additional training where needed. Including cross training across show engineer & technician disciplines.

- Daily technical operations of the show and the maintenance of all specialised equipment, staffing, budgeting and overall managing of the Maintenance and Show Control operations. Preventative, Corrective and Optimisation Maintenance.

- Controls, Keeps tracks of and prepares budgets for required equipment, spare parts, staffing and other operational requirements.

- Coordinate and ensure the daily operations of the show are in accordance with Sun World standards and requirements, Show Producers guidelines, Vietnamese law/ regulations.

- Assisting in role modelling, assessing, coaching and guiding Department Managers and other Team Members.

- Ensures coordination between the Operations Departments and handover of attractions and/or facilities from project team / maintenance team and reports on deficiencies.

- Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of Safety, Service, Show and Efficiency.

- Analyze failures and improve downtime performance.-

- Ensuring all reporting requirements are undertaken (daily reports, corrective action / maintenance reports, incident reports, etc).

- Facilitating onboarding training and developing ongoing specialist training for all Department Staff, to ensure all Team Members are able to carry out their jobs effectively and as per with all Company policies, Manufacturer requirements, safety requirements and SOPs.

- Develop and foster a safe, efficient, professional, respectful, and courteous work culture.

- Develop team goals (KPI‘s), Financial Targets / Budgets, Project Teams, and improvement initiatives.

- Strong show management experience including.

- Good knowledge in computer network/ DMX Protocol & Artnet Protocol/Light desk operation/Watchout Operation (video system)/Audio/ Video Theory -Pyro technics (would be highly preferred)

- A background in multimedia FFX and WFX show technical management preferred.

- 3+ years of proven management experience.

- Excellent Computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Etc).

- A Degree in a related field is preferred.
