Head Chef (Expat- New Concept)

We are looking for an organised and experienced Executive Chef (ExC) to join our great team. Candidates must possess excellent culinary, organization and financial skills, and an ability to make things happen. Customer focus is our no 1 strategy.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

General

• Manage the operations of the kitchen to achieve optimum profits, high level of food production, presentation and sanitation.

• Update recipes and menus to reflect the culture and style of the restaurant.

• Manage and plan events and special menus.

• Embrace digital - work closely with marketing to ensure that MM is always profiled strongly.

• Keep business up to date with product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets and current trends in order to maintain a competitive advantage.

• Monitor guest satisfaction.

• Review and update relevant sections of standard operation procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure Food Bible is up to date.

Finance

• Strong financial management including costings, sales, purchasing, stock control.

• Review and negotiate F&B contracts and manage the terms for profitability.

• Manage and update POS system.

Training

• Work closely with HR to recruit, develop, manage and motivate employees. Conduct regular performance reviews and set objectives.

Accountability

• Report monthly to owners on the operations of the businesses, and financial results.

• Prepare annual budget as part of business plan to increase sales and minimize costs, and deliver profitable results as planned and on time.

• At all times provide a favorable image of MM to promote its “We Care – everything is possible” philosophy.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
