1. ABOUT THE ROLE/ PHẠM VI CÔNG VIỆC

Conduct duties in the assigned Place of Work and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Fusion Policies & Procedures in order to maximize efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness of the Engineering Department.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITES /NHIỆM VỤ CHÍNH:

o Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

o Report for duty punctually wearing smart attire according to hotel's dress codes and name badge at all times.

o Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

o Maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the outlet and all other departments.

o Attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel Training as scheduled and other related activities.

o Support the Departmental Training Function in the Department assigned.

o Submit monthly reporting package on a timely basis.

o Respond to any changes in the Engineering function as dictated by the hotel.

o Maintain complete and supported records of Repairs, Maintenance and Energy Management for the hotel as per Fusion Policies & Procedures

o Conduct routine property inspections of the major plants and public areas as directed to determine maintenance requirements or upgrades and improvements to the property and its assets.

o Responsible for ensuring that all rules and regulations regarding safe working practices are complied with

o Handle specific job requests as directed in an efficient and timely manner.

o Operate all engineering plants and machinery to ensure they run in good and optimum condition.

o Participate in preventative maintenance programs as directed, perform efficiently and effectively.

o Assign specific tasks and job requests to subordinate staff and supervises their day-to-day activity

o Co-ordinate with operation departments regarding specific maintenance activities & all other divisions for maintenance and repair works.

o Report any abnormal, malfunctioning of machinery, short-term and long-term issues or extraordinary incidents to the direct supervisor for his action and follow up

o Assist in the maintenance of efficient administration preparing and submitting reports on time as directed and timely manner.

o Ensure that all departmental reports and forms are completed accurately and punctually.

o Check and maintains the utilities (water supply and electricity systems) to ensure they are functioning properly

o Ensure that the plant room, work shop and related areas, and tools and equipment are kept in a clean and tidy manner.

o Liaise with the supervisor, purchasing or designate to order specific spare parts or equipment necessary to execute effective maintenance.

o Supervise daily operation and maintenance of building service equipment and facilities, Co-ordinates with fellow engineers regarding engineering work in progress, update and reduce backlog

o 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role at Hospitality management experience.

o High school diploma or equivalent.

o Highly organized.

o Highly ethical behavior.

o Effective communicator.

o Motivational skills.

o In-depth knowledge of Engineering practices.

o Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.

o Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
