Restaurant Manager/Assistant Restaurant Manager

Escarpment Group is a collection of luxury boutique hotels and restaurants located in iconic locations in regional areas of NSW, Australia. We are seeking experienced and passionate Food and Beverage managers and supervisors to be part of our dynamic team based in the Blue Mountains region – 90 minutes from Sydney CBD. This is a unique opportunity for skilled and qualified candidates to live and work in Australia.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Working closely with Hotel/Restaurant management to deliver exceptional customer service and implement hotel operating standards.

• Sound knowledge of food and wine service essential - preferably within4.5- 5 star hotel operating environment.

• Being hands-on leader - maintaining presence at the front and on the floor and lead by example

• Supervising and directing floor staff each shift - solid communication skills required

• Assisting the FNB and/or Restaurant managers in ensuring that outlets are properly managed within standard guidelines

• Ensure the hotel restaurant or F&B outlets are well maintained and ready for service on routine basis

• Liaising with guests to the highest standards and resolve any guest feedback to the highest standard

• Implement upselling strategies amongst the team

• Be responsible for all aspects of restaurant operation from opening to closing procedures

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

• Min 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within quality establishments

• Ability to lead team with effective communication and management skills

• Relevant qualifications and experience needed to operate at high standards

• Flexibility and drive to ensure customer satisfaction ie. take ownership and responsibility for every shift

• Immaculate professional presentation

• Do you have minimum 2-3 years minimum experience as a Restaurant Manager / Supervisor – supported by Work references from reputable operators in the past?

• Have you completed any recognised qualifications in hospitality management ?

• Do you have sound knowledge of bar and beverage operations including wines?

• Do you have IELTs English above 5.5 /PTE 50 or above?
