The General Cashier is responsible for the timely and accurate deposition of cash on a daily basis. He/she is responsible to ensure that all cash policies and procedures of the hotel are adhered to.
• Prepare cashier exchanges daily and on a timely basis.
• Prepare daily bank deposits on timely and accurate basis.
• Prepare and present specific financial data to the Assistant Financial Controller’s office daily.
• Check all cashiers’ float regularly.
• Complete any special projects assigned by the Assistant Financial Controller on a timely basis.
• Prepare the daily General Cashier Report.
• Inform the Financial Controller or Assistant Financial Controller of any major cashier overages or shortages on a daily basis.
• Making accurate record of petty cash reimbursement and submit to the Chief Accountant for analysis.
• Making accurate record of cash distribution and cash amount of moneybag.
