Mô tả công việc
- Plan, organize and manage the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and guest service throughout the hotel.
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget, forecast and operational costs in line with the approved business plan and hotel objectives.
- Monitor departmental expenses, identify variances and take appropriate corrective actions to maintain effective cost control.
- Prepare and review departmental reports, month-end information and relevant P&L data as required.
- Monitor and control inventories, including linen, uniforms, guest amenities, cleaning supplies, operating equipment and other Housekeeping assets.
- Develop, implement and periodically review Standard Operating Procedures, checklists and departmental standards to ensure consistent operational performance.
- Ensure all hotel, brand, audit and reporting standards are communicated to the team and consistently followed.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas and other hotel facilities, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure guests receive a clean, well-maintained and comfortable hotel environment, with Housekeeping services delivered in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office to ensure room readiness, accurate room status and effective handling of VIPs, special requests, priority rooms and guest concerns.
- Work closely with Engineering to maintain guest rooms and hotel areas to the required standards and coordinate preventive maintenance, deep cleaning and periodic property improvement activities.
- Oversee Laundry and Linen operations and ensure proper control of linen, uniforms and related services.
- Manage external contractors and service providers related to Housekeeping, ensuring compliance with hotel standards, policies, safety and contractual requirements.
- Prepare manpower plans and weekly schedules based on forecasted business levels, occupancy, operational requirements and approved staffing budgets.
- Monitor team attendance, productivity, overtime, leave and payroll-related information.
- Recruit, select and onboard Housekeeping team members in line with hotel recruitment standards and manpower requirements.
- Lead, coach and develop team members, identifying talent and development opportunities to build a strong and capable Housekeeping team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback, coaching and follow-up on individual and team performance.
- Plan, coordinate and maintain departmental training programs based on operational requirements and individual development needs.
- Monitor team members' appearance, attitude, professionalism and compliance with hotel service standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and regular departmental meetings to communicate business priorities, operational updates, guest feedback and improvement actions.
- Maintain the organization, cleanliness and condition of Housekeeping back-of-house and departmental areas through regular inspections and walkthroughs.
- Handle and follow up on guest feedback, complaints and service recovery related to Housekeeping.
- Support hotel inspections, audits, quality assurance programs and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, security, environmental and sustainability requirements.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to departmental business planning and hotel-wide operational initiatives.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management based on operational needs.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Housekeeping, including experience in a supervisory or managerial position in a hotel/resort.
- Previous experience in an international hotel/resort is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Housekeeping operations, room inspection procedures, cleaning standards, linen and laundry operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera/PMS or other hotel systems.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with a high commitment to cleanliness, quality and guest satisfaction.
- Good knowledge of health, safety, hygiene and environmental standards.
- Positive, proactive and professional attitude with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
