Reservation Agent - Nhân Viên Đặt Phòng

 KEY RESPONSIBILITES

General

• Respond to enquiries about hotel products and services by telephone, fax and email according to standard guidelines

• Input booking information into the Reservation System

• Checking the availability of accommodation on the customers’ desired travel dates.

• Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.

• Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.

• Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.

• Selling and promoting reservation services.

• Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.

• Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as food and beverages, outlets and hotel services/features or upgraded accommodations.

• Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.

• Understand Revenue management strategies, up-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.

• Determine guest needs and quote the appropriate room and rate as per requirements.

• Coordinate and communicate with all other departments to ensure a smooth operation.

Others:

• File and organize departmental documents, maintain stationery and office supplies for the department

• Perform duties and responsibilities in a confidential manner when applicable

• Other duties may be required as directed by the Reservation Manager, Revenue Manager.

• Diploma education

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity or preferably in the area of guest services.

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
