Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible to the Senior Manager - Accounting/Executive Director of Finance. The Senior Account is responsible for being well-knowledge in hotel accounting, maintaining the General & Sub Ledgers, Collaborating with related sections in the Accounting department to prepare the monthly and yearly financial reports. The Senior Accountant must supervise AP, AR and Income Auditor, Core Competencies in Accounting, Taxation, financial affair.

• The Senior Accountant is in-charge of maintaining the General Ledger and Sub Ledgers including the accounts receivable and payable ledgers and journal voucher.
• Review the daily revenue report prepared by the Income Auditor.
• Review payments request on a weekly basic.
• Prepare prepaid and accrued expenses journal vouchers.
• Review the payroll journal calculations and ensure the labor expenses are properly recorded.
• Ensure sub-ledgers and supporting evidence are in order and properly maintained to support the General Ledger.
• Verify that journals and journal vouchers are properly recorded and accurate.
• Ensure all contra/clearance accounts are cleared at month-end.
• Prepare monthly VAS financial reports with related analysis.
• Supervise and control subordinates to discharge their duties in an efficient manner.
• Prepare of other reports as required by Management.
• Check Hoiana Hotel & Suites's tax reports.
• Prepare HASD Corporate's tax reports; taxes consolidation for Hoiana (including FCT, SCT, VAT).
• Coordinate with BUs in preparing the FOC report consolidation for Hoiana.
• Further related tasks assigned by Line Manager/HOD/the Company management if any.

• University graduate with major in Accounting
• Working permit in Accounting
• Additional improvement programs in Finance is preferred
• University graduate is preferred
• Knowledge in book-keeping, including the handling of POS and credit card vouchers
• Familiar with hotel’s internal control system and procedures
• 2- 5 year’s working experience in a similar capacity is preferred
