Director of Sales & Marketing

• Ensure the effective leadership and management of the Sales & Marketing Division to achieve the resort's revenue, profitability, market share, brand positioning, and overall business objectives.
• Develop strategies for forecasting market demand, analyzing sales performance, identifying customer needs, and implementing effective sales, marketing, and distribution initiatives while measuring and evaluating business results.
• Develop, implement, and execute integrated sales, marketing, branding, communications, and promotional plans that support the resort's commercial objectives.
• Identify, develop, and enhance products, services, and promotional initiatives to strengthen the resort's competitive position, maximize revenue opportunities, and improve profitability. Promote marketing awareness and ensure commercial objectives are effectively communicated across the organization.
• Plan, manage, and evaluate the financial performance of the Sales & Marketing Division to ensure cost effectiveness, efficient resource utilization, and achievement of revenue and profit targets.
• Prepare and present the annual business plan, revenue budget, sales forecast, and profit plan for management approval.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate short-term tactical initiatives and long-term sales and marketing strategies focused on customer needs, market opportunities, business growth, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitor activities, and developments within the hospitality industry, and assess their impact on business strategies, products, and commercial initiatives.
• Continuously review and adjust sales and marketing strategies, priorities, pricing, and distribution channels in response to changing market conditions and competitive environments.
• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and support to the Sales & Marketing team by setting objectives, assigning market segments and key accounts, monitoring performance, developing talent, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
• Support the resort's risk management initiatives by ensuring that all sales and marketing activities comply with company policies, brand standards, and applicable regulations.
• Lead the implementation of the resort's talent development and succession planning initiatives by providing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities for the Sales & Marketing team.

• Bachelor or Master Degree in related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Sales & Marketing at senior management level in international Hotels.
• Preferably a 4-year degree with emphasis in marketing, sales, public relations and communications, business administration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong administrative skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to supervise and strongly motivate sales professionals is a must
• Ability to develop effective motivational strategies
• Open minded with good understanding of large, multi-cultural organizational structures.
• Computer literate.
• Good health, mature and pleasant personality and neat appearance.
