Chief Accountant / Kế Toán Trưởng

Hotel Academy Saigon is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to lead the financial operations of our academy.

The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting expertise and a solid understanding of hotel daily operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance. This role plays a key part in aligning academic and operational financial strategies in a hospitality education environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and relevant tax regulations.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Supervise the accounting team and ensure timely execution of daily tasks including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.

Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.

Liaise with internal operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, etc.) to ensure financial accuracy and control of hotel operations integrated into the academy.

Conduct regular internal audits and support external audits.

Advise management on financial implications of business decisions.

Lead the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• 3 years in the similar role at hospitality accounting operations or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
