ASSISTANT STATEROOM STEWARD/ESS

• Daily cleaning of Guest bathrooms & toilets, stateroom balconies, windows & furniture; clean & vacuum assigned corridors, trolleys, lockers & pantries, as per all Public Health Policies.
• Remove & transport required items to & from relevant areas to maintain upkeep of assigned section.
• Ensure lockers are sufficiently stocked with clean linen, towels, cleaning materials & amenities, up to par level; report any maintenance issues found in assigned areas.
• Ensure the confidentiality & security of all Guest staterooms and be prepared to handle Guest complaints.
• Make ice deliveries and provide a laundry pick-up & delivery and shoeshine service for Guests.
• Correctly handle cleaning products, materials and housekeeping equipment, separate & remove garbage and place it in designated containers; clean garbage as often as needed, ensuring that separation procedures and all Public Health Standards are maintained.
• Be familiar with all stateroom features and amenities and be prepared to cover the stateroom introduction in the absence of a Stateroom Steward.
• Participate in luggage duty on embarkation & disembarkation day.
• Assist the Stateroom Steward/ess with managing the stateroom minibars during each cruise, as required by the Executive Housekeeper.

• Monthly salary is paid via on-board Visa card, no tax deduction.
• Five (5) paid vacation days for each month worked is included in the salary; this is accumulated and only paid at the end of the contract.
• Health insurance is provided during the contract period (not applicable to vacation).
• All crew have life insurance at $100,000 death in service benefit.
• No charge for crew laundry facilities, including detergent dispensers.
• Free Wi-fi on-board.
• Medical and visa expenses will be reimbursed on the first payroll against original receipts.
• The company covers flights and transfer to the vessel from and to your nearest international airport of your country of residence; hotel overnight is optional for long-distance travels.
• Uniform is provided; including shoes and safety equipment, and maintained by our main laundry.
• Two-crew only recreational areas (indoor and outdoor).
• Access to the guest gym after 10 PM.

• Must be Vietnamese citizens.
• A required minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Stateroom Steward/ess or similar position; Previous experience working in an operation with high standards of Guest services and cleanliness, such as premium brand ships, as well as previous cruise industry experience is required.
• Be able to do extensive walking and stand on your feet for long periods of time; must be able to physically handle 50+ lbs.
• Must have solid English communication skills to communicate effectively with native English-speaking guests.
• Must be able to work with various chemicals, hazardous materials, and cleaning tools.
• Must have a proven and comprehensive knowledge of all Public Health and Sanitary Policies compliance.
• Able to confirm for clean background/ reference check completed upon proposal.

• Updated C.V. without employment gaps is needed; to note any unemployment.
• References and appraisals for at least 2x last contract.
• Work employment certificate for last 2 years.
