DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
1. To attend all pre-shift meetings to ensure events flow smoothly.
2. To be in communication with the Banquet Captain regarding any special needs.
3. To assist in ensuring that each events are on time as per the banquet event course.
4. To prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order.
5. To make required adjustments as needed and relay that information to the appropriate personnel.
6. To maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
7. To greet all guests and owners warmly with an appropriate greeting.
8. To deliver and serve welcome drinks, food, meals, condiments and accompaniments etc. Delivering Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic drinks for service to your customers table.
9. To properly open and pour wine at the table side.
10. To prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts.
11. To replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
12. To remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area.
13. To respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
14. To perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
15. To monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests.
16. To monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
17. To ensure proper use, storage of all meeting room equipment.
18. To communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest to Banquet Manager.
19. If no upcoming events, please have rooms in a readiness position for any possible site inspections.
20. To assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware/ napkin, etc.
21. To ensure that meeting rooms are re-set for next event.
22. To adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
23. To assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. One to two years’ experience in a similar role in upscale hotels with good oral and written communication skills.
2. Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or in a related field
3. Good English as an advantage.
4. Warmth and graciousness with the ability to function in a busy environment and create stellar guest experiences and flexible availability to work on nights and weekends.
