Customer Service & Operations

  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring all guest needs are promptly and professionally addressed.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture centered on creating special guest experiences.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints effectively, ensuring follow-up and resolution.
  • Ensure service standards are consistently delivered and regularly reviewed.
  • Oversee daily operations, including peak service periods and special events.
  • Ensure safety and hygiene standards are met across all areas.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Train, coach, and develop team members to uphold Hilton standards.
  • Conduct regular briefings, performance reviews, and service quality checks.
  • Prepare rosters and assign duties to meet business demands efficiently.
  • Maintain clear communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff development planning.
  • Uphold grooming and presentation standards at all times.

Sales & Business Development

  • Promote hotel services to guests and partners.
  • Support in creating sales strategies, promotions, and team incentives.
  • Identify and act on sales opportunities and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the F&B Director and Executive Chef on menu development and event planning.
  • Keep up with competitor activities and F&B trends.

Finance & Administration

  • Monitor departmental performance against financial targets.
  • Control costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure effective use of resources and proper inventory management.
  • Maintain event records and assist with brochure and proposal creation.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to OH&S regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct hygiene training and enforce safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

General

  • Attend operational meetings and maintain open communication.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned.

An Outlet Manager (Chinese) serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
  • 1-3 years managerial position in a 4 / 5-star category hotel.
  • Familiar with computer systems.
  • Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seize opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve personal performance.
  • Flexible and responds quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.
  • Maintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
  • Strong leadership, people management and training skills.
  • Guest oriented and able to confidently build and exceed service standards.
  • Thorough knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labour controls, beverage menu writing, maintenance, merchandising, computer and accountings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details.
  • Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations including food, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction.
  • Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.
  • Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
  • Outgoing personality and willing to work for long hours.
