DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for seeking account and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and develop sales for the hotel.
2. Manage key client accounts.
3. Develop and maintain database of major markets, trace files for direct contact and/or mailings.
4. Maximize revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage.
5. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, etc.
6. Maintain close liaison with other departments to ensure the productive departmental performance and budget.
7. Work collaboratively with off-company sales channels (e.g., Event Booking Center, Market Sales, Strategic Accounts) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
8. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
9. Provide excellent customer service in order to grow share of the account.
10. Respond to all guests’ enquiries and requests regarding venues and services for wedding events or conventions.
11. Collect information/ requests from guests/ event planners and keep the team updated for revision of sales contracts and Banquet Event Orders.
12. Coordinate Banquet Operations team and Banquet Kitchen to ensure service is fully delivered to guests of wedding events or conventions.
13. Execute exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction before and during their program/event.
14. Serve the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations, while building a relationship and loyalty to the hotel and brand.
15. Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
16. Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by Director of Convention and by Management.

Yêu cầu công việc
1. At least one year experience in a similar role in upscale hotels or equivalent.
2. Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Hotel Management or Mass Communications or equivalent.
3. Good knowledge of Banquet products and services.
4. Good command of English and Vietnamese.
5. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
6. Passion for service excellence.
7. Willingness to work evenings and weekends; willingness to travel.
