We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Compliance Officer to support in daily tax compliance activities across hotels, F&B, and casino operations. The role involves assisting in tax review of transactions and invoices, preparing monthly tax filings, supporting tax audits, and coordinating with other departments to gather necessary documentation. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a good understanding of Vietnamese tax regulations, and enjoys working in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Duties may include but not limited to:
1. Tax Review Support
- Assist in reviewing transactions, contracts, promotions, purchases requests and expenses to ensure tax compliance.
- Validate documents before submission for approval.
- Support daily tax checks on invoices related to hotel, food & beverage, and casino services.
- Support the Tax Manager in special projects that require tax documentation and analysis.
2. Monthly Tax Filing
- Support in alert potential tax risks and propose solutions.
- Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/yearly tax returns: VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT, SCT, etc.
- Ensure proper filing of tax records and support during tax audits if needed.
- Keep updated with tax laws and assess impact on business operations.
- Reconcile tax accounts with tax reports and general ledger.
- Prepare supporting documents and reports for tax audits and inspections.
- Assist in VAT refund and tax inspection processes.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants and tax authorities for tax matters.
- Coordinate with other departments and external parties to provide required information.
3. Administrative and Coordination Tasks
- Communicate with relevant departments to gather information for tax reviews.
- Help maintain internal tax files and compliance checklists.
- Other tasks required by Line managers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax in Vietnam, at least 2-3 years of experience in taxation at Big4 or auditing/consulting firms.
- Experience in hospitality, real estate, or resort industry is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP is a plus.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good English communication, MS office and ERP software.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage cross-border financial operations and compliance.
- Skilled in coordinating with internal departments, banks, and external advisors.
- Effective communicator and team collaborator in multi-entity, multi-country environments.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a corporate tax environment.
