Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the finance’s standard operating procedures.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Monitor revenues, expenses, and cash flow, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, local laws, and internal company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the General Manager and department heads.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions.
• Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and efficiency.
• Implement cost-control initiatives while maintaining service quality standards of a 5-star resort.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting management, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort industry.
• Strong knowledge of local tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Good communication in English (both written and spoken).
