Team Leader - Public Area - Park Hyatt Phu Quoc - Pre-opening Stage

Job Overview:
The Team Leader – Public Area assists the Assistant Manager - Public Area in supervising the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas in the resort, ensuring that Park Hyatt’s luxury standards and brand promise are consistently met.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily cleaning operations in all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, outlets, spa, gym, and outdoor spaces.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance of Public Area Attendants to ensure all areas meet brand standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of public areas, back-of-house, and function rooms to maintain a pristine environment.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints courteously and professionally.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues and ensure all equipment and cleaning tools are properly handled.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Contractors for repairs, maintenance, and periodic projects such as carpet shampooing or high dusting.
• Train, coach, and motivate attendants on cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
• Support Hyatt’s values, culture, and teamwork spirit through daily leadership and positive example.

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, inspection standards, and guest service excellence.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask effectively.
