Director of Finance

• Lead the overall financial strategy, including annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Monitor financial performance against budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reports for corporate and ownership
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure full compliance with company policies, corporate standards, and local regulations
• Oversee all accounting functions, including purchasing, disbursements, payroll, expense control, and tax/statutory reporting
• Maintain proper documentation of contracts, licenses, permits, insurance, and other financial/legal records
• Collaborate closely with department heads to manage costs, improve efficiency, and identify revenue opportunities
• Conduct financial reviews of departmental performance and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions
• Manage credit control processes, minimize financial risks, and participate in financial review meetings
• Oversee inventory counts and fixed asset management to ensure accuracy and accountability
• Liaise with ownership and corporate offices to ensure alignment on budgets, reporting, and financial performance
• Lead, train, and develop the Finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Proven experience as Director of Finance or in a similar senior finance role within an international luxury hotel or resort
• Strong knowledge of hospitality finance, including pre-opening processes and hotel management agreements
• Solid understanding of local financial regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements
• Experience working closely with ownership representatives and corporate finance teams
• Strong financial planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
