DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

1. Provide information to guests about available Fitness facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment.

2. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in all recreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.

3. Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.

4. Obtain required number of towels from Laundry based on expected needs, transport to work area (fitness center, locker room, pool, miniature golf range), and fold and stack according to company procedures.

5. Distribute lockers and towels to guests as requested.

6. Conduct inventory of supplies and equipment and inform supervisor/ manager of low supply items.

7. Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in recreation area (fitness center, locker room, pool, miniature golf range).

8. Clean fitness and recreation area restrooms and showers, including stocking with adequate tissues and soap, cleaning all surfaces, refilling towels, and emptying trash.

9. Handle all enquiries to address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.

10. Welcome and acknowledge every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.

11. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

12. Monitor pool-related activities closely throughout shift and identify any safety issues.

13. Direct swimmers out of the pool in hazardous conditions.

14. Monitor weather reports to ensure safety of guests.

15. Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.

16. Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.

17. Maintain awareness of unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management/Loss Prevention personnel.

18. Perform any other duties assigned by Shift Leader and Upper Management.

1. At least one year experience in a similar role in high volume luxury hotels and/or resorts or Fitness and Recreation Centers. Experience as a Personal Trainer preferred.

2. Diploma in Physical Education or other related field, Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.

3. Extensive knowledge of Gymnasium and Swimming Pool.

4. Basic English communication skills.

5. First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

6. Lifeguard certification preferred.

7. Passion for service excellence.
