Mô tả công việc
- The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards, and maintaining service quality in accordance with hotel standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
Operational Supervision
- Assign daily tasks and room allocation to housekeeping staff based on occupancy and priorities.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower for each shift.
- Supervise staff performance and ensure rooms are cleaned according to hotel standards.
- Support housekeeping attendants during peak hours when necessary.
Room & Public Area Inspection
- Inspect cleaned rooms before guest check-in to ensure quality standards.
- Conduct detailed inspections for VIP rooms, long-stay guests, and special setups (honeymoon, extra bed, baby cot, etc.).
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in corridors, floors, elevators, and public areas.
Room Status & Coordination
- Monitor room status and update the system regularly.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for room readiness and repair issues.
- Ensure all in-room facilities are functioning properly and report any defects immediately.
Inventory & Asset Control
- Monitor usage of cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of housekeeping supplies.
- Control minibar, laundry, and amenities to avoid shortages or discrepancies.
- Manage keys, communication devices, and housekeeping assets responsibly.
Training & Staff Development
- Train new staff on housekeeping procedures and service standards.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and retraining when needed.
- Update team on new procedures and service improvements.
Guest Service & Problem Solving
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure lost & found items are handled according to hotel procedures.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain shift reports and logbooks for proper handover.
- Report daily/monthly operations to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Assist in ordering supplies and checking inventory when required.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic English communication skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Good health and ability to work in shifts
- Detail-oriented, clean, and well-organized
- Quick problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest complaints
- Responsible, proactive, and team-oriented
