DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

1. Check Audio and Visual (AV) or sound equipment before any event begins to ensure it is fully operational, and repair equipment when necessary.

2. Operate and maintain house audio system in banquet and meeting rooms.

3. Set-up and maintain portable audio system for property.

4. Assist guests/customers with ensuring the interface of audio, video, and projection devices in banquet and meeting rooms.

5. Tape down and dress all loose wire and cable.

6. Perform break-down and remove equipment from meeting rooms promptly following event and return to secure storage location.

7. Instruct guests/customers about proper usage and operation of AV equipment at each assigned event.

8. Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order before event begins to ensure that accuracy against flow sheets.

9. Monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals during each assigned event.

10. Label any broken equipment with a tag that includes a description of the problem and communicate problem to manager/supervisor.

11. Oversee the set-up of AV/ sound equipment in banquet and meeting rooms and attend to guest’s needs.

12. Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

1. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role at a four or five star hotel/ resort.

2. Technical or Vocational Training Diploma in a related discipline, college preferred.

3. Excellent physical health.
