Night Supervisor

BASIC FUNCTION:

To oversee and coordinate all Front Office operations during the overnight shift, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and compliance with Centara Hotel & Residences Van Don standards and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise all Front Office operations during the night shift and ensure service standards are maintained at all times.

2. Lead, guide, and support night shift associates in handling guest arrivals, departures, requests, inquiries, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

3. Monitor and verify all Night Audit activities, including room rates, charges, payments, guest folios, and revenue postings.

4. Review daily revenue reports, cashier balances, and identify any operational or financial discrepancies for immediate follow-up.

5. Ensure accurate completion of End of Day (EOD) procedures and all required night reports.

6. Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, Reservations, and other departments to ensure smooth overnight hotel operations.

7. Handle guest incidents, service recovery situations, and emergency cases in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

8. Monitor hotel safety, security, and public areas throughout the night and report any irregularities immediately.

9. Ensure all guest requests are handled efficiently and followed up to completion.

10. Prepare and communicate comprehensive shift handover information to the morning management and Front Office team.

11. Support the training, coaching, and performance development of Front Office associates assigned to the night shift.

12. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, departmental procedures, accounting standards, and health and safety regulations.

13. Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and conduct in accordance with Centara Hotel & Residences Van Don brand standards.

14. Assist management with special projects, operational assignments, and other duties as required.

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of Front Office experience, with prior supervisory or Night Audit

experience preferred.

3. Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, cashiering procedures, revenue control, and Night Audit processes.

4. Experience with Opera Cloud or other Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for successful candidates.

5. Good command of English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.

6. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

7. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight operations.

8. High attention to detail, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

9. Flexible to work night shifts, weekends, public holidays, and emergency situations as required.

10. Experience with Opera Cloud or other Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for successful candidates.
