BASIC FUNCTION:
The Assistant Director of Sales is responsible for supporting the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue. This position leads the sales team, manages key accounts, drives business opportunities, and ensures achievement of sales targets for rooms, MICE, events, corporate, leisure, and other revenue segments in line with Centara Hotel & Residences Van Don's standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in preparing and executing the hotel sales plan, annual budget, business strategy, and revenue action plans.
2. Manage and develop key accounts, including corporate clients, travel agents, event organizers, govemment offices, local business partners, and online business partners.
3. Lead, guide, and support the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
4. Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, hotel presentations, and business development activities.
5. Identify new market opportunities and generate new business for rooms, meetings, events, weddings, banquets, and other hotel services.
6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer demand, and business
performance to recommend suitable sales actions.
7. Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, Front Office, F&B, Events, Finance, and Marketing teams to maximize revenue and ensure smooth guest experience. 8. Review proposals, contracts, quotations, and business agreements to ensure accuracy, profitability, and compliance with hotel policies.
9. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure professional follow- up to secure repeat business.
10. Prepare sales reports, business forecasts, account production reports, and market updates for management review.
11. Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in organizing sales campaigns,
promotional activities, trade shows, familiarization trips, and networking events. 12. Handle guest and client feedback professionally and coordinate service recovery when required.
13. Train, motivate, and monitor sales team members to improve performance, product knowledge, and selling skills.
14. Represent the hotel professionally in business meetings, networking functions, and external sales activities.
15. Ensure all sales activities comply with Centara brand standards, hotel policies, grooming standards, confidentiality requirements, and code of conduct.

Yêu cầu công việc
1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
2. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial sales role, preferably in a 4-5 star hotel.
3. Strong knowledge of hotel sales, corporate business, leisure market, MICE, events, banquets, and revenue management.
4. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop profitable business opportunities.
5. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Good command of English and Vietnamese, both spoken and written.
7. Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office; experience with hotel PMS, CRM, or sales systems is an advantage.
8. Professional appearance, positive attitude, customer-focused mindset, and strong business acumen.
9. Able to work under pressure, travel for sales activities, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
10. High level of responsibility, integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork spirit.
