BASIC FUNCTION:

The Property Marketing and Communications (Marcom) Manager is a pivotal role responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, public relations initiatives, and communication efforts tailored to a specific Centara property. This position ensures alignment with corporate branding guidelines while adapting to local market dynamics to drive revenue, enhance guest engagement, and build brand loyalty. The ideal candidate is a creative, results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, digital marketing trends, and media relations. You will collaborate closely with the property's leadership team, corporate Marcom department, and external partners to position the hotel as a premier destination.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, including annual budgets, promotional campaigns, and seasonal initiatives to achieve occupancy targets, revenue goals, and market share growth. Align strategies with corporate objectives while incorporating property-specific insights.

2. Digital Marketing and Social Media Management: Oversee the property's digital presence, including website content, SEO/SEM optimization, email marketing, and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Zalo, Wechat). Create engaging content, monitor performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, and adjust tactics to maximize ROI. 3. Public Relations and Media Relations: Build and maintain good relationships with local media, influencers, and key stakeholders. Draft press releases, organize media events, KOL/Influencers and manage crisis communications to enhance the property's reputation. Coordinate with corporate PR teams for high-profile announcements.

4. Brand Management and Compliance: Ensure all marketing materials, signage, and communications adhere to Centara's brand standards. Conduct regular audits and provide training to staff on brand messaging to foster a consistent guest experience.

5. Event and Partnership Coordination: Plan and execute on-property events, promotions, and collaborations with local businesses, tourism boards, and partners. Leverage partnerships to increase visibility and attract new customer segments, such as MICE or leisure travelers.

6. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, guest feedback reviews, and market trend assessments to inform decision-making. Utilize data from PMS, CRM tools, and industry reports to identify opportunities and optimize strategies.

7. Content Creation and Collateral Development: Produce high-quality marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, videos, and advertisements. Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create visually compelling assets that resonate with target audiences.

8. Budget Management and Reporting: Manage the property's Marcom budget, track expenditures, and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions. Prepare monthly reports on campaign performance, KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, engagement metrics, media coverage), and recommendations for continuous improvement. Manage filing systems (manual & electronic). Maintain and manage database. Maintain of stock of printed materials. Develop hotel gift & giveaway.

9. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead a small team of Marcom Executive/Coordinator, Graphic Designer providing mentorship and performance evaluations. Foster cross-departmental collaboration with sales, operations, and revenue management teams to support integrated initiatives. 

10. Sustainability and CSR Initiatives: Promote Centara's commitment to sustainability through marketing efforts, such as eco-friendly campaigns and community engagement programs, aligning with global standards like Green Leaf or EarthCheck certifications.

Yêu cầu công việc

CRITERIA:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Digital Marketing, HubSpot Inbound Marketing) is preferred.

2. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in marketing and communications roles within the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position at a hotel or resort. Experience in luxury or international brands is highly desirable.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp), content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). Familiarity with hospitality- specific software like Opera or similar PMS is an advantage.

4. Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in English or other local languages is a plus. Strong creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and work under tight deadlines.

5. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings or industry events. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of the property. A portfolio of previous marketing campaigns or projects is required during the application process.
