Room Attendant

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel SOPs: make beds, change linens, vacuum, dust, polish surfaces, clean bathrooms and replenish amenities.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure presentation, functionality and missing/broken items are reported.
• Clean and maintain public areas (corridors, stairwells, public restrooms, back‑of‑house) as assigned.
• Handle and record lost & found items; hand over valuables to supervisor following hotel procedures.
• Report maintenance issues (lighting, plumbing, furniture, A/C) to Engineering via the hotel reporting system.
• Follow proper chemical handling and housekeeping equipment use; maintain trolley stock and cleanliness.
• Adhere to linen and inventory control procedures; report shortages to Supervisor.
• Respond politely to guest requests (extra towels, pillows, amenities) and communicate special guest requirements to Supervisor/Front Office.
• Assist with deep‑cleaning tasks, room inspections and periodic projects (move‑outs, re‑set of VIP rooms).
• Comply with health, safety and hygiene standards including waste disposal and laundry procedures.
• Participate in training, briefings and performance reviews.

Annual Leave: 12 days of paid annual leave per year (plus additional days based on seniority).

Public Holidays: 11 paid public holidays per year as per government regulations. Overtime pay applies if working during holidays.

Salary & Service Charge: Competitive base salary plus monthly Service Charge (once operational).

Basic reading and writing skills; ability to understand simple English for guest interactions is an advantage.
