Laundry Attendant

• Sort, pre‑treat and load laundry according to fabric type, soil level and hotel procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, presses, steamers and other laundry equipment using correct settings.
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage or missing items; perform basic stain removal and minor repairs (sewing) or report items for further attention.
• Iron, press, fold and package linens, towels, robes and staff uniforms to hotel presentation standards.
• Return processed laundry to Housekeeping, F&B and other departments on schedule; assist with urgent deliveries during peak periods or events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of laundry areas, trolleys and equipment.
• Monitor and record chemical and consumable usage; report shortages to Supervisor.
• Follow chemical handling procedures and use PPE as required; comply with MSDS guidelines.
• Report equipment faults or maintenance needs to Laundry Supervisor/Engineering promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts, linen tracking and loss/damage logs as directed.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety and environmental procedures, including proper disposal of waste and water/energy saving practices.
• Participate in training and follow supervisors’ instructions.

Annual Leave: 12 days of paid annual leave per year (plus additional days based on seniority).

Public Holidays: 11 paid public holidays per year as per government regulations. Overtime pay applies if working during holidays.

Salary & Service Charge: Competitive base salary plus monthly Service Charge (once operational).

Basic knowledge of laundry processes, fabric care and ironing techniques is an advantage.

Physically fit and able to stand, lift, bend and perform repetitive tasks; able to handle moderate loads.

Able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as rostered.

Vietnamese language fluency required; basic English is a plus.
