Cluster Director of Finance and Business Support

We are looking for a new Director of Finance and Accounting comfortable with balancing the books when it comes to managing the needs of owners, auditors and regulatory agencies while also monitoring and improving hotel profitability. In return, we will put our financial operations and the security of our hotel assets in your expert hands.

• Managing and coaching team to ensure the right person is always on the right task

• Setting exceptional accounting practice standards and ensuring financial control procedures remain ethical and legal

• Maximizing financial returns through financial analysis, data trends and market information – while budgeting accordingly

• Enhancing the guest experience through improved payment options, inventory controls and financial dispute resolution

• Supervising a number of clerical accounting employees across a range of functions – from Accounts Payable to Purchasing and Payroll.

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance  

• Minimum 8–10 years of Finance experience in international hotels/resorts.

• Previous experience as Director of Finance / Cluster Director of Finance is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hotel finance, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls and business analysis.

• Strong leadership, analytical and business partnering skills.

• Excellent command of English.

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.

• Pre-opening / cluster experience is an advantage.
