Food & Beverage Trainee

• Assist in delivering high-quality service and maintaining cleanliness.

• Learn menu details, daily promotions, and restaurant procedures.

• Support opening and closing tasks as directed.

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

• Help serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.

• Note special requests and communicate effectively with the team.

• Clear and clean tables after guests leave.

• Support in preparing and maintaining workstations.

• Follow safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).

• Attend training sessions and contribute to team activities.

• Report guest feedback or issues to supervisors.

• Show professionalism and thank guests at departure.

• Be able to support all tasks within the department and assists in covering of shifts for team members when necessary.

• Maintains strong working relationships with other departments to ensure effective communications for operational issues, serves as a role model for inter-departmental collaboration and support

• Assist other outlets, including banquet up to demands.

• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures

• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management

• Report for duty on time wearing clean and complete uniform at all times

• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times

• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel

• High school Graduation

• Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage

• Experience in restaurant or hotel will be an advantage

• Basic English communication, a second foreign language is an advantage

• Experience in Micros, MC, MS Office will be an advantage

• Good communication and customer contact skills

• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team

• Self-motivated and energetic

• Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
