Learning and Development Manager

• Develop and implement the annual L&D strategy, training plan and budget based on business and competency needs.

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identify development priorities across departments.

• Design, coordinate and deliver onboarding, orientation, service standards, leadership and functional training programs.

• Work closely with HODs and department trainers to ensure effective training implementation and follow-up.

• Manage and develop the Departmental Trainers, ensuring consistent training standards across the resort.

• Monitor training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback and performance results, and recommend improvements.

• Maintain accurate training records, reports and compliance with IHG learning requirements and systems.

• Support talent development, succession planning, career development and employee engagement initiatives.

• Coordinate external trainers, training providers and relevant partners when required.

• Lead pre-opening training activities, including induction, brand standards, service culture, SOP training and readiness programs.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within international hotels/resorts.

• Previous experience as L&D Manager / Training Manager is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hospitality training, service standards and competency development.

• Excellent facilitation, presentation, communication and coaching skills.

• Good command of English.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Experience with pre-opening / international hotel brands is highly preferred.
