HR | Assistant Manager, Recruitment/ talent acquisition

The Assistant Recruitment Manager supports the resort's talent acquisition strategy by managing end-to-end recruitment activities, from workforce planning to onboarding, while helping build the resort's employer brand across social media and community channels. This role works closely with the Human Resources Manager and department leaders to ensure the right talent is sourced, selected, and retained to support business objectives, particularly during peak operational periods. The position also plays a key role in coaching hiring leaders on interview and evaluation techniques, and in developing junior recruitment team members.

Key Result Areas

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

• Oversee all recruiting initiatives, including job postings, advertising, external recruitment events, and partnerships with employment agencies to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Develop and implement a recruitment plan aligned with the resort's budget and business objectives, including screening and selection systems.
• Lead recruitment efforts including referral programs and sponsorship/work permit processes, ensuring efficient and legally compliant hiring practices.
• Collaborate with the resort's management team to assess resource needs and ensure the skill mix of new hires aligns with operational requirements.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate selection, ensuring qualified candidates are hired in a timely manner.
• Support new team members through onboarding and throughout their probation period.

Talent Acquisition Analysis & Quality Control

• Monitor turnover trends and conduct exit interviews to identify root causes and inform retention strategies.
• Leverage recruitment data and metrics to refine sourcing channels, hiring strategies, and process efficiency.
• Perform quality control on candidate selection outcomes; coach department leaders on interview techniques and evaluation methods to strengthen hiring decisions across the resort.
• Assess organizational development needs and recommend activities that enhance local resource efficiency and capability.

Employer Branding & Communications

• Manage HR-related content on social media platforms, including employer branding posts, recruitment announcements, and talent/associate highlights.
• Ensure all recruitment materials and designs align with WorldHotels brand standards and operational messaging needs.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, coach, and mentor recruitment team members; conduct performance evaluations and provide development opportunities.
• Recognize team achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing recruitment team.

• Working 5 days per week.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven track record in recruitment, with hands-on experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and career development strategies.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate sourcing, selection techniques, and onboarding best practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
