Manager/Assistant Manager, Project Budget and Cost Control, Finance – Real Estate

The position is responsible for cost control of the phase 2 of Real Estate development expenditures, including budgeting, cost control to ensure aligned with the approved budget, payment management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepare project budget, monitor and update project budgets and report cost variances, identify to ensure all expenditures aligned with approved budget.
• Maintain cost control measures, processes, and reporting structures.
• Assist in contract reviews in managing project agreements.
• Check payment certifications from QS, payment request from contractors/ suppliers against contracts and approved budgets.
• Work closely with the Project Management and Finance team to support cost control processes.
• Prepare and update cashflow forecast (weekly, monthly and quarterly) for project expenditures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to project costs.
• Other related assignments by Line Manager and the Company Management.

• Experience in cost control, project finance, or management accounting, preferably within the property development or construction industry.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
• Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
