Chief Accountant

• Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounting function in accordance with Vietnamese regulations and company standards.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, revenue, payroll, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, tax reports, and statutory reports.
• Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese accounting, tax, and financial regulations.
• Manage cash flow, banking activities, payments, and financial controls.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, operating expenses, and financial performance.
• Work closely with department heads to control costs and improve financial performance.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the Finance team, ensuring high standards of accuracy, integrity, and efficiency.
• Support the pre-opening process, including setting up accounting systems, procedures, controls, and financial reporting structures.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the General Manager and management team to support business decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or Chief Accountant Certificate in Vietnam is required.
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel, resort, or international hospitality environment.
• Previous experience in a Chief Accountant / Financial Controller role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Experience with hotel accounting systems and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis.
• Pre-opening hotel/resort experience is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and pre-opening environment.
