Cost Accountant

• Support the Cost Controller in monitoring and analyzing hotel operating costs.
• Prepare daily and monthly Food & Beverage cost reports and related cost analysis.
• Record and reconcile inventory movements, including purchases, transfers, consumption, wastage, spoilage, and adjustments.
• Assist with monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Review purchase orders, receiving records, invoices, and other supporting documents to ensure accuracy and proper recording.
• Assist in preparing menu and recipe costing and maintaining updated cost records.
• Monitor actual costs against budget and previous periods and highlight significant variances to the Cost Controller.
• Prepare cost and inventory reconciliation reports for review.
• Assist in investigating discrepancies in inventory, consumption, purchasing, and cost records.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Stores, F&B, Culinary, and other relevant departments to resolve cost and inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory valuation, consumption, and operating costs.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including inventory reconciliation, accruals, and cost adjustments.
• Support the Cost Controller in preparing monthly management reports and cost analysis.
• Ensure cost-related documents are properly maintained and available for internal and external audits.
• Follow hotel policies, internal controls, and applicable Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations.
• Assist with establishing and maintaining cost-control procedures and systems during the pre-opening period.
• Perform other accounting and cost-control duties as assigned by the Cost Controller.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Cost Control, or hotel Finance, preferably in a 5-star hotel or international resort.
• Good understanding of hotel cost control, F&B costing, inventory management, and stock reconciliation.
• Experience with inventory, purchasing, POS, and accounting systems is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good command of English.
• Experience in a pre-opening hotel/resort is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
