Cost Controller

Monitor daily receiving, issuing, and inventory movements of food, beverage, and other operating supplies.

Conduct regular and spot inventory counts and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

Verify purchase prices, quantities, unit costs, invoices, and supporting documents.

Monitor Cost, consumption, wastage, and other key cost indicators.

Maintain and update recipes, standard portions, selling prices, and recipe costing for food and beverage items.

Analyze cost variances and identify unusual consumption, wastage, or discrepancies.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports and provide relevant analysis to management.

Work closely with F&B, Kitchen, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to ensure effective cost control procedures.

Ensure all cost control activities comply with hotel policies, procedures, and IHG standards.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-related projects when required.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Cost Controller Supervisor or Finance Manager.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Previous experience in Cost Control, preferably within a hotel, resort, or F&B environment.

Good understanding of inventory management, purchasing procedures, and cost control processes.

Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/POS/inventory systems.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.

Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Good command of English, particularly in reading and understanding financial and operational documents.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Copy of Citizen Identity Card (ID).

Copies of relevant certificates or qualifications (if any).
